Haluat siis presidentiksi

A nine-part interview podcast on the candidates in Finland’s 2024 presidential election. Media group Keskisuomalainen produced it and released it across December 2023 and January 2024, in the run-up to the first round.

Each episode runs about an hour. Journalist and author Jaakko Tapaninen sat down with one candidate at a time to talk about their values and how they would lead Finnish foreign policy together with the government.

What I did

• Audio engineering on all nine episodes: recording, levels, room tone and post
• Editing: pacing, clean-up and the mix
• Background research on each candidate before recording, for Tapaninen
• Stills from the recording sessions
