Borenius headshots
Studio assistant on the new portrait headshots for Borenius Attorneys, the Helsinki law firm.
Antti Ranki hired me as studio assistant on the new headshots for Borenius Attorneys, the Helsinki law firm. I was there for six days between September and December 2025. I built the light setups, showed people their photos after each shot, and did a quick first cull of the pictures, which helped Antti with the post-production.
The firm wanted its staff pictures to look more modern, with lawyers who come across as approachable partners, not distant experts. The portraits are lit and graded the same way across the firm, with light, smiles and a relaxed feel. Antti photographed several hundred people over several days at the firm’s offices, and he ran test shoots first.
